This was a set of photos I took a few years ago. I was either bored and wanted to take photos, or I didn’t want to sew anymore…and I wanted to take photos. Either way, here they are.
If you’re interested in a print, I’ll have some of these up in my Print Shop!

Here are a couple self-portraits showing off a blue lace dress that I made awhile back. It’s probably one of my favourite creations to date that I’m finding hard to part with, so in my wardrobe it stays until indefinitely. I’ve been trying to work more with natural light, as my new space now allows for that. It’s an adjustment process for me since I’m mainly used to working with my lights, but I’m loving it so far.
I haven’t been as consistent with my photography as I’d like to be lately. So, it was refreshing to finally be able to create something again.
The back story behind this…A few days ago, I was getting ready to head out the door. Then I glanced over into the Parlour Room. The light was perfect. So I put my bags down, touched up my makeup, and set up my camera. After a couple test shots and a few actual shots, the impromptu photo shoot was done.
I’d consider this to be one of the fastest photo shoots I’ve ever done. It was incredibly last minute and in the moment, and I was quite pleased with the results.
